Product Description
Component Engineering manufactures a family of soundtrack readers for professional 35mm and 35mm/70mm projection systems. These include combination digital/analog sountrack readers, analog soundtrack readers which can be upgraded to read Dolby Digital soundtracks, and analog-only readers. All kits include the required power supplies and the video cable for Dolby Digital if applicable.
STRD-30
The model STRD-30 digital/analog soundtrack reader contains a Dolby Digital reader and a reverse-scan analog reader. (Simplex, Century, and Kalee)
STR-30
The model STR-30 reader is an analog version of the Model STRD-30 which can be upgraded to read Dolby Digital soundtracks. (Simplex and Century only)
ASR-30
The model ASR-30 analog-only soundtrack reader provides improved performance at the lowest price. The main components of the ASR-30 can be used in the Simplex, Century and Kalee as part of an upgrade to read Dolby Digital soundtracks.
ASR-40
The model ASR-40 analog-only soundtrack reader is our lowest-priced red LED reader with a compact, low-noise power supply.
